About Zhou Wenhan

Zhou Wenhan is an undergraduate at the University of Singapore. He will be graduating with a Bachelor of Engineering (Computer Engineering) with a minor in Technopreneurship at the end of July 2009. During his time in the National University of Singapore, Wenhan has served on many student organizations with the 2 most prominent position as the Chairperson of NUSSU Business committee and Director of Marketing of the Student Union.

Wenhan also found www.Tagxe.com (May 2007 to June 2008) which is a ride sharing website that has grown to over 1000 users in 2 months and featured in a National Newspaper. However Tagxe proved to be his first fail web startup  after numerous attempts to scale the number of users fail.

Wenhan also experienced Silicon Valley by being selected to be a part of a highly Competitive National University of Singapore Overseas College (Silicon Valley) Program where students work full Time as an intern and take entrepreneurship courses in Stanford University.

In his internship, he was the first employee of GetQuik.com, an online marketplace for consumers to order food from restaurants in Silicon Valley. Together with the CEO of GetQuik, Ken Ryu, GetQuik grew to 7 employees and with over a $1 Million in transaction. At GetQuik, he covered customer service, Web Design and Sales.

GetQuik is attempting to simplify online restaurant ordering. It enables customers to order from restaurants using the Internet, mobile phones, and customized widget technology. GetQuik handles the rest of the ordering process. Customers pay for orders through their GetQuik accounts.

http://www.Tagxe.com - Ridesharing for SG (No longer maintained)

Tagxe is all about providing you a platform to look for people to share a cab in Singapore. The system allows you to link up with other people by a meeting point (e.g. Bishan), a final destination area (e.g Orchard) and a specific time. Tagxe even has a recommended way to split the taxi fare among the riders.
